Cofield is the President/CEO of the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC) and brings over 27 years of leadership and supplier diversity experience to the organization. In this position she is responsible for advancing business opportunities for minority business enterprises with corporations and buying organizations throughout EMSDC’s service territory which covers Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

Her background includes expertise in the area of MBE/WBE/DBE business development, helping position small businesses to compete on projects and to develop differentiated teaming strategies. Ms. Cofield has also assisted public entities in implementing economic development initiatives, and private companies in developing supplier diversity business strategies.

Ms. Cofield has worked with employers and clients from New York to Miami and had chief oversight of the diversity program at INTECH Construction. She was instrumental in INTECH winning the 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2009 General Building Contractors Association’s Commitment to Diversity Award.

Ms. Cofield’s many achievements include the 2016 SmartCEO Philadelphia Brava Award, DiversityPlus Magazine 2015 Top 30 Supplier Diversity Professionals, and MBN USA 2015 Champions of Supplier Diversity.

Ms. Cofield earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College.
